Reflective teaching is about action in classrooms and schools and in other work with learners - albeit thoughtful action! Discussion, reading and reflection thus have to be put into practice and ideas for
improvement have to be tried out in practical situations.
Reflective Activities have been developed over many years to illustrate how small-scale, highly focused, classroom enquiries can be used to improve practice and help to solve problems or illuminate issues which arise. There are many of these within the Reflective Teaching Handbook, but the website enriches that provision with over 150 more. Each one offers guidance in how to carry out activities and often provides links to related research findings.
The Chapter Menu, on the left, takes you to Reflective Activities for each topic.
