Teachers often lack confidence to take risks with ICT in teaching and learning.  Whilst teachers are experienced with using ICT and other new technologies at home, and use computers to support administrative tasks at school, they often lack the knowledge and understanding of how to effectively incorporate ICT into their lessons.
Your evidence
Would it be helpful to identify the barriers that might be preventing you from using ICT to support your teaching? Could you think of three ways you could incorporate ICT into your lessons and write a brief description of the activities you would use. Perhaps you could consider each activity in turn and try to identify the barriers and fears that might be preventing you from implementing them in your lessons?
